#100Days100Poems Day 66 #PhotoPoem #PhotoHaiku

Over the coming days we’ll be presenting either a #PhotoPoem or #PhotoHaiku inspired by what is found in the collection of sculptures at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Rather than discuss the titles, origins &tc. of the sculptures themselves, each #PhotoPoem or #PhotoHaiku will instead be unified by the title the author has given, regardless of the context of each individual sculpture, its national origins or artistic school.

If you would like to submit to this endeavor, please send an email, with poem saved as a word document (.docx) to waxyandpoetic AT gmail DOT com. All rights remain with the author.

My recent trip to Philly continues to give us some very fruitful #PhotoHaiku. The City of Brotherly Love can teach us a lot.

From the Garage to the Studio–DIY Sculpture Poetry

In an effort to switch things up a bit, the poem for this post,

“Picasso the Sculptor Sculpting Sculptures Scrupulously and Scrappily in his Workshop”

will simply be presented as audio, with a gallery of photos showing some of the works mentioned in the poem. A post at a later date may include the text of the poem.
